The tokota was confident in herself as she broke through the ice, giving one last look at her handler before diving into the chilling water. It nearly took her breath away, but the feeling quickly passed as she began paddling after the first gathering of fish she spotted. There was plenty of time to complete this test, but no time to waste in getting started. That bucket up there would not fill itself, but it would be filled even if Layla had to do it one fish at a time. With her fist catch made and her held breath nearly spent she made her way back to hole above and back onto the ice. Dripping water as she trotted to the bucket, she couldn’t help but feel proud; one fish down and so many more to go.
