Personality
[Loyal]
Fiona is loyal to a fault. She would do anything for her Empire even if it means sacrificing her own well-being, and believes that everyone else thinks the same way. She considers the Empire her family although she isn’t very good at expressing it.

[Studious]
Even after the end of her apprenticeship, Fiona was hungry for knowledge. She insists that there is always something to learn no matter how much she knows. This makes her inherently curious which can sometimes cause her to get into rather precarious situations.

[Introverted]
Fiona is painfully, cripplingly shy. If she had a choice she would never talk at all. On the occasion that she does have to speak to someone, her sentences are very short and choppy. She also has to clear her throat a lot to keep her voice from cracking, but also uses it as an opportunity to think of what to say next.

In addition to being unable to talk around more than one or two others at a time, Fiona hesitates to talk about anything personal, such as feelings. She also thinks that a person’s past is their own business and will never ask for information about such things, but listens intently if it is offered.

[Motherly/Protective]
Having a soft spot for cubs, Fiona takes it upon herself to watch out for them when she is not hunting, patrolling, or training her apprentice. She considers herself the guardian of Cosima, and is very affectionate towards the cub. Her protective instincts extend also to the apprentices and others unable to defend themselves.

History:
Fiona was born in Massilia, but unlike others she lived in a home, not the Coliseum. Her mother, Thea, kept her hidden from the humans who owned her, fearing that they would take her daughter away. One day, the curious cub came out of hiding before her mother gave her the signal, sending the owner into a fit. His wife however saw the cub as an asset and decided to keep the cub around, much to her mother's relief. Now free from the need to constantly hide, life was good for the two lynxes.
At the age of six months, Fiona was taken to the Coliseum and offered up as a breeder. Terrified of what would happen to her, she broke free of the leash and collar the humans had given her and took off through the city, causing havoc in the streets she ran through. Before long, she found herself leaving the stone walls and entering the forest.
Scared and hungry, Fiona traveled the wilderness looking for a place she would be safe, always thinking about her mother. When she was too tired to walk anymore she sat down to wait; for what she didn’t know, until a patrol of Lightning Empire cats approached. Knowing her life depended on learning to take care of herself, Fiona decided to join them.She took to her training well and was soon able to hunt and defend herself in a fight. Slowly but surely, she earned her way to Gladiator.
